There’s a lot to be said about ‘premium’ products. Usually they are produced from well established brands, command a substantial amount of money to be obtained -in the context of their respective industries- and they become ‘identity’ indicators for some of their users. This description does not include custom made goods, produced on request and literally unique.

Inspired by custom made products

At Mythologia we decided to focus on the values of ‘custom made’ products instead of the features of the ‘premium’ category. We feel that clothes, shoes and any other item in our wardrobe is created to outfit our body so it is ready and able to enjoy living, instead of making a ‘look at me’ statement to the world. The more significant moments we live in our shoes and clothes the more valuable they become. So, the purpose of creating our real leather handmade sandals goes far beyond the scope of one instagram post.

The value, but not the price

So we invest in authenticity, having our sandals handmade by artisans in Crete, with extra meticulous care. We choose high quality vachetta leather and then we treat it with eco friendly, vegetable dyes. We create designs that stay true to style whatever the trend and accessorize your looks whatever the occasion. When you buy a pair of Mythologia sandals, you make a choice that will become a staple in your wardrobe and will be right there with you whether you walk the busy city streets or the sundrenched alleys of an island. Also, they are quite photogenic, if we may say so. 

The premiumness of slow fashion

Our sandals are made to last. A pair of Mythologia sandals is not custom made, but it bears your mark over time. The leather takes the shape your body and skin allow it to and it becomes unique, so no two pairs are the same. The sandal is authentic and exclusively yours. It does not become an indicator of your identity. You are the sole owner and you make it significant.
